Edmonds Lions Club Foundation

The Edmonds Lions Club Foundation is a State of Washington non-profit corporation. The Foundation received 50l(c)(3) tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, giving donors a tax deduction for all sums donated to the Foundation.

The original seed money for the Foundation came from the estate of Lion Jack Swann. Jack was a charter member of the Edmonds Lions Club and was the Club's first president.

The income from the Foundation's endowment fund may be used for helping those who are blind or hearing impaired, for scholarships for local students, and for all projects of Lions Clubs International.

The annual meeting of the Foundation is held each year in January to report on finances and elect officers for the coming year. All members of the Edmonds Lions Club are voting members of the Foundation.

If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to the Edmonds Lions Club Foundation, please contact us. Be assured your gift will be lovingly and carefully used to further the philanthropic endeavors of the Edmonds Lions Club. You may designate that your donation be used for a specific Lions Club purpose.
